CHABLIS
A unique land
Chablis
The terroir
The northernmost part of Bourgogne sits on a stony, clay-limestone soil that dates from the Jurassic period. The Chablis region is unique for its soil rich in minerals and marine minerals.
The Chablisien vineyard is a unique terroir where we find a great diversity of expressions thanks to its village appellations, its premier crus and its unique Grand Cru available in 7 climats. Chablis has a rich past of more than 150 million years when the sea covered this very special soil called the Kimmeridgian. This heritage has allowed an exceptional aromatic diversity created from a single grape variety: Chardonnay.
As you travel through the village of Chablis and its vineyards, you will discover the exceptional lands of Chablis and the production of wine (origin, climate, exposure, grape varieties, methods, etc.) so personal.
A unique aromatic diversity
Chablis wines are dry and fresh, with notes of citrus and white fruits, accompanied by a subtle floral touch.
Chablis Grand Cru, with its green-gold color has a perfect balance between liveliness, dryness and acidity.
Chablis Premier Cru wines encompasses a wide range of aromas from the most mineral to the most floral.
Chablis village wines are very dry, and stand out with their freshness and sophistication.
Petit Chablis are wines rich in aromas of white blossom and citrus and are light and full of life.
