The saturday 4th july 2015, Les Climats du vignoble de Bourgogne became part of the World Heritage UNESCO list. This decision reflects eight years of hard work and it’s a marker in our history, the history of the women and men who have shaped these landscapes.

The Bourgogne winegrowing region must continue this quest for quality, respecting these vineyards that represent our livelihood and which we will hand on to the next generation.

The future Cité des Vins de Bourgogne, will house a center for understanding the Climats.

Although the site included on the World Heritage List is limited to the Côte de Beaune and the Côte de Nuits, the Cité’s reach will cover the entire Bourgogne region which has, over the centuries, been structured around the Climats.
